Another pattern background AJAX Generator for designers looking to get ready for web 3.0 : Tartanmaker. Same as StripeGenerator, it is very easily to use and just simply choose the color you want and click “Make It!” at the preview image for generating.

The tool allow you to download or save your tartan pattern that you can create in a new/old fashion with a very simple interface. There is a new feature that named “Go Fullscreen” for previewing the full tartan screen not only at the small square.

Be sure to check the tartan's gallery, there are many inspiring designs that you might find useful, and if you feel creative, just create an account and post your own, like mine.
